What is a Family Film?

Sure you've got hundreds of clips on your phone that you probably haven't done anything with, but a family film is more than that. It's a moment in time, a day in your life with the people you hold most dear- set to music and motion— and full of emotion. Most importantly it gets YOU in the frame instead of behind the camera.

Family films capture your life— just the way things are right now. The messy, the ordinary-- the extraordinary. And yes, even the chaos that comes with babies and toddlers. Whether we capture the sweet moments of your session... or spend a full morning or evening together documenting your day, let's capture all the giggles... all the first steps... and all the memories in a film you can watch again and again!

What Does a Family Film Session look like?

Family films can take place in your home or outdoors at your favorite place. Films are all about creating memories in the places you and your family love, so I'll spend about 2 hours with you as you play and love on each other.

The goal of a family film session is to capture this moment in your lives. It isn’t to capture the most perfectly styled picture... or for everyone to be on their best behavior. It’s a time to let go. To spend time with the freaking awesome family you’ve created and document your life just as it is— the funny little things your children say, their favorite song, a dance party in the kitchen that ends in lots of laughter, and all of the moments in between.
